Melanie arrived on May 1st in Ketchikan and the next day we departed for Meyers Chuck. This is a bomb proof anchorage off of Clarence Strait. The entrance is quite intimidating the first time you enter at low tide but we had 12 ft. of water under us. We were able to tie up to the dock. The bright yellow Skunk Cabbage was in full bloom.
