We were anxious to get to Ketchikan. We were tired, damp from all of the rain, needed to do laundry everything was soggy, concerned about our run-in with the mysterious underwater object that bumped our keel and for that we needed to hire a diver. We also needed to register with US Customs.
We hailed the Harbormaster and he assigned us to North Bar Harbor. It is close to grocery shopping, laundry, and restaurants. A very nice US Customs Officer came to the boat and checked us in. We went grocery shopping, did the laundry and too showers.
We called a diver from the Harbor master's list.
We were very grateful for the good news. NO HARM DONE !

It rained continuously the 2 days we were in Ketchikan. We got our errands completed and headed for Petersburg. I was on my way to the Laundromat when Daniel snapped this. Notice the rain dripping off my hood!
