May 28th Barlett Cove to Blue Mouse Cove

Dall's Porpoise feed in the rich waters of Blue Mouse Cove as evening falls. They were swimming all around our boat at anchor.

As we investigated Blue Mouse Cove in Wings we first noticed an elusive moose moving too quickly to photograph. We soon found out why! A beautiful Grey Wolf was tracking him. Here you can see him picking up the mooses scent. It was a thrilling experience!

Blue Mouse Cove has a labyrinth of tiny shallow coves. We are able to anchor in 10 fathoms in the first bay off of the Gilbert Peninsula.

There is fantastic scenery all around us. The weather was unbelievable crisp, clear and calm.

.

We passed Marble Island where the huge Steller's Seals were waiting in line to mate with "Big Daddy"

As we entered Glacier Bay we were overwhelmed with the beauty and the vastness of this total wilderness.
