VILLAGE COVE TO ALISON SOUND ON BELIZE INLET

The sun shone a brillant white as we
departed Village Cove and turned due east on Belize Inlet. Water falls of newly melted snow dumped into the inlet.

Layers upon layers of glaciated peaks lay before us on this wonderful day.
Rising 1,000 feet on the port side is "Half Dome of Belize" sparking thoughts of it's creation. We turn up Alison Sound through the narrow gorge into a large bay. Snow capped peaks appear as we search for an achorage.
The wind whips down the steep sides of the bay creating "Wiliwaws".
The wind was blowing from the northwest at about 20 knots. Lou finds an uncharted anchorage to protect us for the night from the wind.
