Our dear friends John and Kristi from Friday Harbor joined us to explore the Broughton Archepelago. Our first stop was Echo Bay Marina. We visited Billy Proctor's Museum and enjoyed the afternoon chatting with him about his sixty years of beachcombing and the two books he has written. We then went on to Pierre's Marina and spent the day prawning, fishing and exploring the area. The next day we enjoyed attending a Pig Roast at the marina. A great time was had by all.
In the morning we continued on to the Burdwood Group of Islets to explore an ancient First Nations summer village. We relaxed on the white clam shell beach and marveled at the lovely scenery, the beautiful clear water and the warm sunshine.
We returned to Sointula. We enjoyed good food, good times with good friends.
