"BIG BERTHA" IS IN HER NEST!



On the south side of San Juan Island at American Camp "Big Bertha" a female Bald Eagle is in her nest. We spotted her peering over the huge nest while sitting on her egg or perhaps eggs.

SPRING ARRIVES ON SAN JUAN ISLAND WITH THE BIRTH OF CASHMERE GOATS

The smallest babies are 3 days old.
The next group are 3 weeks old.
Horns start to develop at 6 months old.






PROUD PARENTS



Both the male and female have horns. These adult goats have had their undercoat or down shaved to be made into cashmere yarn.
